Cookie statement

    Last updated:

A cookie is a small file that a website puts in your browser. Some are needed to make the site work, such as your shopping cart. Others are optional. We only use those if you say yes.

    Your choice

On your first visit we ask what you want. "Reject all" is just as easy as "Accept all", and nothing is ticked in advance. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we respect it. After 12 months we ask again.

You can always change your choice with the button below, or with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, we remove the related cookies and storage straight away.

    The kinds

    • Necessary: needed for the shop, logging in and remembering your cookie choice. These are always on.
    • Preferences: small choices stored only in your own browser, such as light or dark mode. Nothing is sent to us.
    • Statistics: anonymous visitor numbers with Matomo on a server of our own. Not shared with anyone else.
    • External media: the YouTube videos in the Lab. They only load when you press play, in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Only then can YouTube set its own cookies and see your IP address.

We use no advertising cookies and no social media cookies.

This table is kept up to date automatically: it comes from the same register as the cookie banner.
